Corina's Story
REGISTERED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER, RCSW
I have always loved being given the opportunity to work alongside people and feel honoured when they allow me to become a part of their journey toward healing. Having witnessed the struggles of others who could not access vital support, I chose to pursue training and education that would help me become the best support that I can be for others to achieve their goals. I work from a trauma-informed approach, drawing on elements of evidence-based treatments that meet the unique needs of every client and build on their strengths. When we work together, the approach we take in therapy will be based on what is best for you, honouring where you are, where you have been, and where you’re hoping to be.

Therapeutic Philosophy
I use therapy approaches that are based on understanding how traumatic experiences and emotional injuries are stored in our bodies to support healing. With kids, this looks quite similar, with play as a central part of the process. I have a special interest in examining the interactions between trauma, anxiety, and ADHD, including how to leverage the strengths of ADHD in treatment. To meet your therapeutic goals, I use modalities like EMDR, Emotion Focused Individual Therapy, and Play Therapy.
